hi all just joined thought i would pop in and say hi just bought a clio r26 im goin to be goin a oil change in next 6 months so if anyone has any pointers on good performance oil then let me know please Smile

cheers my names guy and im from the sunny town of doncaster where at this moment in time its well freezin lol. i think i will have to have a chat with this oil expert then Smile

, unfortunatly i do not have any life photos of my car yet just the standard renault ones but when i finally get some sorted i will get them up here first thing and im already thinking of joining for christmas Smile

Also, we're a good bunch and go to pretty much all the shows throughout the summer!!

So how have you managed to get insured on that thing considering your only 21!? Laughing

You have any plans for mods?

no plans for mods at the min just enjoying the newness if thats a word lol well as for insurance lol 110 a month so quite pricey but not as bad as havin a 182 when i was 19 lol i am however trying to find technical info on the car but doesnt seem to exist lol trying to find out if its standard diff or limited slip aswell as checking if the gearbox is seperate to the engine which i imagaine it is but ya never know lol

I can answer those, diff is not LSD, box is seperate!

how you know if you dont mind me asking lol? reason is im thinking of putting in a product called activ8 that is meant to help protect the engine more my mate says its good stuff and he swears by it but cant be used on lsd and cannot go in gearbox really lol

The tech specs are on there, shows gearbox number, also if you look at tech spec for Megane F1, you'll see it states it has LSD, whereas it does not state for Clio F1.
