does anyone have any engine cover bolts for the 2ltr 16v? clinton put mine somewhere safe when he painted up the cover but we can't find them now?
and does anyone have access to some steel sheeting, tubing and a welder? and want to make me an adaptor thingy, I'll even consider paying lol - pm me

lol yeah I got that blitz SUS filter waiting to go on but it didn't come with it's fixing plate, we got tube etc just need something to fix said filter to said tube

sound easy prob 1. 200 miles, prob 2. finished work until jan 7 yippy.go 2 your local fab shop etc thay shouldnt charge you a lot i know we wouldnt .tom

Yes, Hayley is the master of in depth techno speak!
Just think yourself lucky you don't live with her and have to spend a large part of each day decoding what the hell she's on about. lol

Actually the adaptor will be a piece of cake to make, just need to get more gas for the mig welder first  and then some silicone hose to join it all together. Already have the steel flexi pipe to put the thing into decent air flow (after we move the rad to the other side of the car of course!)

Its all about the holy grail of induction for the 16v RTi. Getting the air filter into good cold airflow behind the grille instead of in that horrible position on top of the gearbox. On the non a/c cars it is possible to move the rad to the other side of the car and route a pipe around it to put a filter between the rad and the grille.
We've had most of the bits to do the job for god only knows how long but it has just kept getting put off and put off, so I guess Hayley is getting impatient to get the job done.
